Through faith in Jesus Christ, we are made right with God and have peace with Him.
A simple prayer of faith
A prayer cannot save you; Jesus saves. But if you want to turn from sin and place your faith in Christ, you can speak to God in words like these:
God, I know that I have sinned and cannot save myself. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead. I place my trust in Him as my Savior and Lord. Please forgive me and help me follow You. Thank You for the gift of eternal life. Amen.
This prayer is not a formula. Salvation rests in Jesus Christ and what He has done, not in saying particular words.
