About this policy
KBLD 91.7 is a radio ministry of Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities in Kennewick, Washington. This policy describes how we handle information through this website, messages to the station, and donations made through our linked PayPal service. The providers named below also process information under their own privacy policies.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare delivers and protects this website. It receives technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested address, and request time. We also use IP addresses temporarily to limit automated analytics submissions, survey attempts, and staff login attempts. Raw IP addresses are not saved in KBLD’s audience or survey totals. Cloudflare’s processing is described in its privacy policy.
Listening and now-playing information
You do not need an account to listen. When you press Play or open the stream directly, your browser connects to SecureNet Systems, our streaming provider. SecureNet receives technical connection information, including your IP address, browser information, and connection time.
Your browser also contacts SecureNet to display what is currently playing. These requests begin when the player loads, even if you have not pressed Play, and recur when the information is refreshed. KBLD does not attach your name, email address, or a listener account identifier to these requests. See SecureNet’s privacy statement for its practices.
Contact messages
When you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, topic, and message. The form sends that information to Formspree, which checks for spam, stores submissions in its dashboard, and sends them to the station’s Gmail inbox. Formspree may also process technical request information, such as your IP address and browser information. See Formspree’s privacy policy.
Form submissions and emails sent directly to the station reach the same inbox. Station employees and volunteers read these messages to handle inquiries and respond. Messages in Gmail are also processed by Google under its privacy policy.
Please keep messages general. Do not include payment-card numbers, medical details, or other sensitive personal information about yourself or anyone else. This guidance also applies to prayer requests.
Giving
Online giving takes place on PayPal. This website does not collect your payment-card details. PayPal processes donations under its privacy statement.
The church bookkeeper accesses the donor and transaction information that PayPal makes available for managing donations. The information available depends on the transaction and PayPal’s settings, including any donor choices offered by PayPal.
Separately, this website counts visits that continue to PayPal. That count does not confirm that a donation was completed and is not connected to donor records.
Audience measurement
We use combined daily counts to understand how people use the website and listen online. We count site visits, public page views, confirmed stream starts, 60 seconds of listening, survey invitations and completions, and clicks or submissions that open the direct stream or PayPal.
Website activity counts are grouped by public page, broad referral source, device category, and approximate country and state or region supplied by Cloudflare. These geographic categories come from connection information; the website does not request your device’s precise location. Survey completions are counted without source, device, or geographic categories.
KBLD’s measurement records contain totals, not individual activity histories. They do not contain raw IP addresses, names, email addresses, full referring addresses, URL queries or fragments, search text, cookies, fingerprints, or persistent visitor identifiers.
Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this passive measurement. They do not stop the connections needed to deliver the site or stream, process a message or donation, or verify a survey you choose to submit.
Listener survey
The optional survey asks four multiple-choice questions about your age range, listening method, listening frequency, and preferred content. It does not ask for your name, email address, location, or a written response. Each answer is added directly to a station-wide daily total. We do not save a separate record containing all of one person’s answers or link answers to contact messages or individual listening histories.
Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated submissions. It loads when the available survey form is displayed, before you submit answers. Cloudflare processes technical signals such as your IP address, browser information, and connection characteristics; our server also sends your IP address to Cloudflare to verify a submission. These security checks are separate from the survey totals KBLD stores. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Cookies and browser storage
KBLD’s audience measurement does not set tracking cookies. When you dismiss a survey invitation, we save a preference in your browser to hide invitations for 30 days. After a successful submission, we save a completion preference so that browser is not asked to complete the same survey again. The completion preference remains until you clear it through your browser’s site-data controls or we replace it for a new version of the survey.
These preferences contain only the invitation or completion status and, for a dismissal, its expiry time. They do not contain your answers or a visitor identifier and are not sent to KBLD. Temporary browser-tab storage also remembers when you open the survey or a submission cannot be confirmed. Preferences do not carry over to another browser or device, and clearing or blocking storage may cause invitations to appear again.
Staff who sign in to the private Audience Desk receive a security cookie that keeps them signed in for up to eight hours. It is used to control access to the dashboard, not to build listener profiles. Signing out removes that cookie. Providers may use their own cookies or security technologies as described in their policies.
How long information is kept
Our audience database is configured to remove daily audience and survey totals older than 18 months through a daily cleanup. Cloudflare’s database recovery copies may remain available for its backup recovery period after totals are removed from the active database.
The 18-month schedule does not apply to contact messages or donor records. We do not currently publish a fixed deletion period for those records; they may remain in Formspree, the station’s Gmail inbox, PayPal, or church records after an inquiry or donation. Contact us about the retention or deletion of a particular message or donation record. Providers also have their own retention practices for information they process, including technical and security records.

Please identify the message or donation your request concerns without sending sensitive documents or payment details. We may need to verify your identity before sharing or changing records. Audience and survey totals have no visitor identifier, so we cannot identify an individual contribution within those totals.
